Privacy Policy

Last Updated: March 2026

1. Introduction

Pxlart Digital (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of data integrity and privacy. As an architecture-first consultancy specializing in Online Regulatory Units (ORU) and Trust & Safety, we understand that data security is the cornerstone of digital sovereignty. This policy outlines how we handle information in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) and global best practices such as the GDPR.

2. Scope of Services

Unlike consumer-facing platforms, Pxlart Digital operates as a Data Processor for our institutional clients (Government Agencies and Global Enterprises). We provide the architecture and tools for our clients to monitor public-domain digital content.

  • Institutional Data: We do not own the data captured by the ORU framework; it remains the property of the client.

  • Public Domain Data: Our tools aggregate data that is already in the public domain (social media, broadcast feeds, public forums) for the purpose of regulatory compliance and threat detection.

3. Information We Collect

  • Executive Inquiries: We collect names, professional emails, and institutional affiliations provided via our "Executive Inquiry" portal to facilitate high-level consultations.

  • Technical Logs: Our systems record metadata related to framework access to ensure the security and auditability of the ORU Command Center.

  • No Private Harvesting: We do not harvest private messages, encrypted data, or non-public personal information. Our focus is strictly on public-facing digital narratives.

4. Data Sovereignty & Storage

We believe in local data residency.

  • National Security: For government clients, Pxlart Digital ensures that all captured regulatory data is stored within the jurisdiction’s borders or on secured, sovereign cloud infrastructure as mandated by national law.

  • Encryption: All data at rest and in transit is protected using industry-standard AES-256 encryption.

5. Data Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade institutional or personal data to third parties. Data disclosure only occurs under the following conditions:

  • Legal Mandate: When required by a court of competent jurisdiction.

  • Client Direction: At the explicit request of the contracting Agency or Enterprise.

6. Security Protocols

The "Architectural" nature of our work means we employ a Security-by-Design philosophy. This includes:

  • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for all Command Center access.

  • Regular forensic audits of our data pipelines.

  • Strict "Need-to-Know" access controls for personnel.

7. Your Rights

Under the NDPA, individuals and institutions have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data held by us. For inquiries regarding data privacy, please contact our Data Protection Officer at oru@pxlartdigital.com
